Hook an Ethernet cable with the Linksys range extender. Then LEDs will blink solid white or blue. It depends on the model of the router you are using. Linksys extender setup for the Access Point Mode

Connect a computer, PC, or laptop to the Wi-Fi network of your router. In short, you need to connect the device with your Linksys extender setup page.

Find the MAC address of your Linksys extender from the back of the extender panel.

Open a web browser and launch it from your mobile or PC. And then, enter the URL extender.linksys.com at the address bar.

Create a Linksys extender Network to set it up on Access Point Mode

Firstly, you can create an “Extended Network” that you will be getting as the broadcast network from your range extender. Then tap to NEXT.

Create the extended wireless range on both the frequency Modes of your router that is 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

Now the time is to set up a password to admin your Linksys extender setup and then click SAVE.
